At Winners (Canadian TJMaxx) a couple of weeks ago, I saw a lot of Shiseido best Rouge lipsticks up for sale at $12.99 a pop. They’re on a regular basis $30 each.  It reminded me of the collection that I had at home… which I paid full cost for (don’t you just dislike that? Seeing stuff you gotten at full cost marked down at a later date?) I keep neglecting my collection so I believed I’d pull them out:

I own (left to right):
• Fleur OR341 – orange coral
• Dreamscape RD351 – soft pinkish coral
• Sublime RD142 (gwp size) – warm soft red
• harmony RD750 – brick red
• Pink Mesa PK303 – brownish pink nude
• Venetian increased RS711 – mauve rose

It seems that not a great deal of people have tried these lipsticks, so I’ll do swatches of them right here as well as supply some info about this magnificent lipstick.

The formula of best Rouge is a dream: smooth, pigmented, hydrating, as well as lightweight.  I get 4 hours of wear as well as it uses off extremely naturally, leaving a minor stain.  The surface is a satin with a few of the shades having minor shimmer (but not glitter).  There’s no scent to the lipsticks which is a refreshing change.  I likewise like the packaging – the tube feels substantial, I believe it’s made from metal – as well as the shape is so unique as well as sleek.  Another plus: the non-rounded shape of the tubes indicates they don’t roll off tables.

One of my tubes (Venetian increased RS711, on the right) is a somewhat purpley toned gunmetal colour – I’m not sure why it’s different than the rest, it may have been a restricted edition release.

The very first one I got was Fleur, which I bought during the summertime a few years ago. It’s a peachy coral shade that is simple to throw on.

The Shiseido best Rouge is one of my all time much-loved lipstick formulas – there are so lots of a lot more colours I’d like to get (Tourmaline, Titian, wonderful Pea).  Lately I’ve been using harmony as well as Pink Mesa rather a bit – they’re best autumn shades!  Have you tried these lipsticks?  I extremely suggest them!
